This job involves overseeing the planning, design, and construction of upgrades to wastewater treatment plants and related facilities in Pierce County, including managing projects like plant expansions and equipment replacements.

Why it's a great opportunity: In this role you will manage the planning, engineering design, project management and construction management work associated with the preservation and improvement of wastewater treatment plants and supporting facilities.
Your work will range from coordinating consultant contracts, writing reports, communicating with internal and external groups, completing engineering calculations, specification development and preparing plans in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
The Sewer Division performs all the planning, administration, engineering, construction management, maintenance, and operations necessary to run like a successful public utility.
