Seattle Public Utilities’ (SPU) has a position opening for a Civil Engineer Supervisor within the Engineering and Technical Services Division (ETSD).

Supervises staff performing or serves as project engineer and Engineer of Record on the most technically complex, visible and/or controversial projects or programs involving several design specialties including: Drinking water pipelines, conveyance pipes, valving, pump stations, ER-DIP, cathodic protection, water system appurtenances, site restoration, ADA ramp designs, and general utility infrastructure projects.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology or other combinations of education and/or experience which provides preparation to complete professional Civil Engineering work.
Experience: Requires six years professional civil engineering experience, including two years supervisory experience

The full salary range for this position is $81.17 per hour - $94.12 per hour.
This position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Starting January 2, 2025, City employees will have the option to work remotely two days per week.
