Summary

This civil engineer position with the U.S.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing civil/structural engineering services (e.g.

planning, design, development, construction, alteration, cost estimates, and inspection) for buildings, grounds, and facilities.

  • You will analyze renovations and improvements needed to meet new mission and environmental requirements.
  • You will prepare architectural and engineering statements of work.
  • You will provide technical review of design calculations, analyses, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards.
  • You will develop requirements and management plans.
  • You will monitor construction to assure compliance with contract provisions and standards.
  • You will participate as an expert consultant and program evaluator in Inspector-General investigations and other special reviews.
  • You will conduct economic analyses to determine feasibility of renovations versus new construction to meet new requirements.
  • You will analyze project proposals, recommend changes and/or approve proposals.
  • You will promote teamwork and total quality management.
