This job is for a cashier at a convenience store or snack bar on Beale Air Force Base in California, where you'll handle customer payments in cash, check, or credit card, make change, and balance the register at the end of shifts.
It's a flexible part-time role with hours varying from 0 to 40 per week, open to anyone but giving preference to veterans, military spouses, and certain other groups.
A good fit would be someone with basic retail or office experience who is reliable, good with numbers, and comfortable in a customer-facing environment.
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moos & Brews, Beale AFB, CA.
This position is a FLEX and is not guaranteed hours, but may have you work anywhere between 0 - 40 hours a week. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have experience in clerical, office or retail work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
Experience must include demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, to make change when receiving payments from customers, and to use cash accountability control methods You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Accepts the checks from the customer, totals up the sale, and accepts payment, providing change as necessary. Payment may be made in the form of cash, check, or credit card.
