About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Club Operations at Wright-Patt AFB.
Performs daily cashier duties to include the: receiving and disbursement of monies. Ensures proper identification is presented before disbursement is made. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and to make change when receiving payments from customers.
Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of case items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control method.
Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Position is a position of trust. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. This is a drug testing designated position.
The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Must be able to satisfactory complete a National Agency check with Inquiries. Major Duties:
Performs daily cashier duties to include the: receiving and disbursement of monies. Ensures proper identification is presented before disbursement is made.
Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts, coupons and other supporting documentation.
Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposit is made in a timely and correct manner with proper supporting documentation. Prepares and issues changes; from funds as required.
Ensures all monies are accounted for by balancing with the posting of funds placed in the activity's safebreaker actual bank deposit.
Prepares cash reports and notifies supervisor of any suspected irregularities. Cashes personal checks for members and accepts payment for dues, special function payments and charges to accounts.
Ensures the proper accounting for charge cards, sales slips, and guest checks and ensures they are included within the daily cashier's report.
Ensures funds are secured in the cash drawer and safe when leaving the immediate work area. Processes receiving documents as required. Assists management with end-of-month inventories.
Accepts new member applications, verifies the party contract and ensures the cash, charges, and pro-rata charges received, balance to the special function contract total.
Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visits, routing and filing correspondence, maintaining and processing time and attendance records for all employees in the club system, and maintaining files.
Responsible for tracking trends that pertain to funding labor hours and equipment time used to establish status reports to the Commander.
Performs other duties as assigned pertaining to club functioning on an-as-needed basis. Works an irregular tour of duty to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Operates a government motor vehicle such as a van, pickup truck or sedan when performing distro runs making deposits or going from the Wright-Patterson Club to the Air Force Museum Cafe.
