Summary

This job is for a cashier at a bowling center on an Air Force base in South Dakota, where you'll handle cash transactions, prepare deposits, and assist with basic office tasks in a food and beverage setting.

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Bandit Lanes on Ellsworth AFB.

This is a flexible work schedule with no minimum guaranteed hours; however may work up to 40 hours Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work. Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items.

Must have a valid driver's license. Major Duties:

Operates cash registers in the food and beverage operations. Collects cash receipts, cash register tapes, checks, credit card receipts. Prepares and issues change from funds as required.

Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposit is delivered to Resource Management. Assists with observed inventory and cash counts.

Performs general office duties such as receiving visitors, answering telephones, preparing and filling correspondences, maintaining files, and assisting with the Services Employee Timekeeping Systems.
