Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

What are we looking for?

Four years of experience that demonstrate possession of the ability to manage, plan, organize, coordinate, schedule, monitor and determine management controls for multi-disciplined structural trades in the performance of general and project maintenance and general facilities upkeep, one year of experience having been at a supervisory or managerial level.

Must have knowledge of the structural craft trade codes and licensing requirements of the various craft trades working within the Branch.

Must possess or be able to obtain applicable government operator permits. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Major Duties:

What to Expect Provides overall management of the multi-discipline trades (carpentry, painting, wielding, upholstery, and maintenance mechanic) Structural Branch of Facilities & Maintenance Division (FACM).

Plans, organizes, coordinates, schedules, monitors and determines management controls of all projects/work efforts assigned to Branch.

Develops scope of work for projects/work efforts and assigns/distributes resources (personnel, material, and equipment) to accomplish work effectively and economically.

Sequences projects and other work to achieve optimum resources management and work productivity.

Coordinates with other FACM Branches, other MCCS Divisions, Base Public Works, and commercial vendors in identifying and resourcing project requirements to ensure timely job completions.

Evaluates overall project/work efforts to ensure proper sequencing of all projects to meet project needs and adjusts allocated resources to meet unanticipated situations.

In concert with the FACM Director, will determine general parameters of projects/work efforts. Monitors project/work costs and ensures proper assignment of accounting data.

Assists with the development of Division budget. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.

Performs other related duties as required.
