Summary
This job involves using carpentry skills to build, repair, and maintain structures, displays, and outdoor areas in Mackinac Island State Park, including work on buildings, furniture, and roofs with various tools.

- Ability to work evenings, holidays, weekends, and outside normal schedule
- Willingness to live on Mackinac Island or travel by plane during off-season when boats are unavailable
- Proficiency with hand and power tools for construction, repair, and maintenance
Full Job Description
Position will provide carpentry skills for Mackinac Island State Park construction, exhibition, and renovation projects; construction of exhibition display cases; repair and maintenance of buildings, doors, furniture, windows and roofs using hand and power tools as needed. The position will also perform maintenance of buildings and grounds as directed.This position may require the individual to work outside of their normal work schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends. During the off season this position may require you to live on the Island or take a plane to get to work when the boats are not operating.
