This position is located in the Acquisition Directorate (AD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).
The AD provides end-to-end support services for all matters relating to acquisition and procurement and provides operational IT services for the business operations specialist appointed within Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) and the and the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer (ODCMO), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS), and Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA).
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
You may qualify at the NH-3 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-2 or equivalent grade level (generally GS-5-11) in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability in: Developing resources to accomplish mission goals and strategic objectives; Collecting and preparing comprehensive reports to inform managers and executives of projected plans; Administering, executing and/or assisting in organizational goals, challenging and complex projects/programs; Identifying and resolving problems that cross organizations and promulgates solutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as a point of contact for advisory business end-to-end procedures and processes.
Conducts briefings and prepares comprehensive reports to keep managers and executives advised of project plans to communicate findings and recommendations.
Serves as an advocate for the delivery of IT requirements to meet their Organization's/Agency's mission. Resolves customer related technical hardware and software problems.
Researches and determines or recommends appropriate actions or interpretation of issues impacting the organization.
