Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.
It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Command.
It is in the Technical/Administrative Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience: To qualify your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.
Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For the GS-09 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience applying fundamental principles, theories, or concepts of budget administration or financial management; or experience assisting with financial or budget administration services, such as planning, programming, budget formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution.
For the GS-11 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience supporting financial or budget administration services, such as planning, programming, budget formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution; or experience monitoring, researching, or analyzing financial or budgetary data to ensure accuracy or identify trends or discrepancies.
For the GS-12 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience independently identifying, analyzing, or resolving budgetary issues related to planning, programming, formulation, justification, presentation, monitoring, or execution; or experience utilizing financial systems or tools to research, analyze, or validate budgetary data.
