Full Job Description

This position is located at: Desert Winds Bowling Center - Fort Irwin, California.

As a member of the DFMWR Social and Dining team, you will be integral to a network of five distinct locations, each committed to excellence.

These establishments range from casual eateries to full-service dining and event catering.This is an open continuous announcement.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Candidates must: 1. Be able to lift and carry large items weighing up to 100 pounds. 2.

Possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams. 3. Be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions.

  • Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies. Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance provided by and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer.
  • Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties.
  • Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces; and by assisting in stocking, inventory.
  • Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment and tools. Working knowledge of manufacturer's diagrams, specifications and schematics.
  • Recognize and report malfunctions. Performs routine duties without directions. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds. Works in awkward positions.
