This position is located at: Phantom Warrior Lanes - Fort Hood, Texas.

Phantom Warrior Lanes Bowling Center offers a variety of services for our Fort Hood Soldiers and Families, including: X-treme Bowling under glowing lights and energetic music; Full-service Strike Zone snack bar open daily for lunch and dinner;Electronic Bingo; Arcade and League Bowling.

This is an open continuous announcement. All qualified applicants will be forwarded to management on a weekly or as needed basis. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience directly related to the duties describe above.

Knowledge of electrical principles and operating characteristics of electrical and electronic components for application as in the duties described.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 3 to 4 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience 1 to 2 years Electrical Maintenance Experience NOTE: Applicants who met both minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first.

  • Maintains and repairs a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies. Including but not limited to automatic pin placing machines, automatic scorers, and ball returns.
  • Diagnoses equipment malfunctions, but referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment such as continuity testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and feeler gages.
  • Repairs cracks, chips, and splinters in bowling pins and lanes, using wood plastic and lane stock, sands surfaces, and recoat them with appropriate finishes.
  • Determines which mechanical assemblies are malfunctioning, what parts and mechanisms can be reworked or should be replaced with new parts, and the types of adjustments and alignments required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
