This job involves fixing and maintaining bowling equipment at a military base's recreation center, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts to keep everything running smoothly for soldiers and their families.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in repairing machines and electronics, who enjoys troubleshooting problems and working independently in a team-oriented environment.

This position is located at Pine Plains Bowling Center. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: experience maintaining, adjusting and repairing a variety of bowling equipment having mechanical, electrical and electronic parts, components and assemblies, AND demonstrated ability to use standard electrical test equipment, such as voltmeters, ohmmeters continuity testers, and test lamp, AND demonstrated ability to do repairs such as soldering loose connections, burnishing contact points, splicing, insulating exposed wires, replacing defective printed circuit boards, AND knowledge of the basics of electrical principals and the operating characteristics of electronic components.
