Job Description
Summary
This temporary job involves helping college students with Biology coursework through one-on-one tutoring sessions, focusing on clear communication and accurate guidance.
Tutors will track their sessions using an online system and work at the college's Academic Success Center.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or closely related science field
- Master’s degree in Biology with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Biology

- Recent experience tutoring or teaching Anatomy and Physiology to college students
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students
- Proficiency in completing forms and entering data into the ASC Online Database
- Commitment to completing two Service Excellence courses
Full Job Description
Provides tutorial instruction to students in Biology courses. Maintains a high level of excellence in tutoring by communicating and interacting effectively with students. Completes the forms necessary for each tutoring sessions and enters each tutor session into the ASC Online Database.Midlands Technical College is dedicated to providing excellent service to its students, employees, and the community. In doing so, all MTC employees will take two Service Excellence courses; Service Excellence is a college-wide program to enhance our collective efforts of ensuring MTC is a first-choice college.
This position is located on the Airport or Beltline Campuses in the Academic Success Center.
