Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves coordinating and managing the daily operational schedules and information flows for a major military command in the Pacific, ensuring leaders have timely updates to make decisions during missions.
It supports high-level staff by organizing meetings, creating plans, and briefing senior officers on operations.
A good fit would be someone with military or government experience in planning and communication who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
You will serve as a Battle Rhythm Manager in the Knowledge Management Office, Chief of Staff, Headquarters of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating an expert knowledge of the policy, procedures, processes, and information flow associated with battle rhythm management.
You must also possess a mastery of knowledge and acumen in applying advanced principles, concepts, methods, standards, and procedures for: (1) developing and interpreting policies, procedures and strategies governing joint military operations; (2) providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations on issues; and (3) making recommendations that significantly influence policies and programs.
You must be able to communicate extremely well both orally and in writing.
Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1) Developing, refining, coordinating, and executing battle rhythm to support command decision cycle and facilitate operations; 2) Applying a knowledge of tactical, operational, and strategic planning processes as well as military operational art; 3) Establishing processes and procedures to ensure an adequate flow of information to enable decision-making and subsequent operations spanning the entire continuum of operations.
