Job Description

Summary

This job is for a bartender at a community center on a U.S.

Army base in Wisconsin, where you'll mix and serve drinks, handle sales, keep the bar stocked and clean, and ensure guests behave responsibly.

It's a hands-on role in a relaxed setting for military community members. A good fit would be someone with bar experience who is friendly, physically capable, and good with numbers and people.

Full Job Description

This position is located at McCoy's Community Center. The McCoy's Community Center Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Fort McCoy Community.

Announcement will a have a first cut office date of January 29, 2026. Applicants that apply prior to that date and found eligible may be given first consideration.

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcohol at the time of appointment. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.

Possess math skills necessary to calculate bills and take inventory. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages is required.

Ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff. Major Duties:

  • Follows established procedures in operating a full-service bar, mixing and serving a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock.
  • Stocks bar, utensils, equipment and keeps work area clean and sanitary. Keeps record of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
  • Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
