Anticipated Entry on Duty: Beginning of April Open to the first 100 applicants or until 02/19/2026 whichever comes first.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc.
(includes blueprinting and reading) Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Troubleshooting If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.

The major duties of the position Automotive Worker include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform maintenance repair and overhaul and work on automobiles, truck tractors and other vehicles including gasoline and diesel engines with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic and electronic controlled engine systems Troubleshoot repairs and overhauls major components and systems such as engines, transmissions and differentials, transaxles, electric fuel systems, emission controls systems, and computer related electrical systems, braking systems and other assemblies using a wide variety of diagnostic systems evaluate and repair specified automotive systems.
Runs operational checks on components of automotive systems, vehicles, and equipment to effectively diagnose problems occurring in automotive systems Creates an effective PM System for equipment and vehicles
