This job is for an entry-level helper role at an Army base's automotive skills center, where you'll assist experienced mechanics in basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles like cars and trucks.
It involves hands-on tasks such as replacing parts, making adjustments, and following safety rules under supervision.
It's ideal for someone with some basic mechanical experience who wants flexible, part-time work without guaranteed hours or sponsorship benefits.
This position is located at the USAG Humphreys Automotive Skills Center. This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed.
Applicants will be referred to selecting officials as vacancies occur based on the date of application. This is a flexible position with zero guaranteed hours and is NOT COMMAND SPONSORED.
The position does not offer SOFA status, installation access or a Letter of Employment (LOE). Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).
Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.
Applicant must have completed high school or the equivalent in a trade school. Creditable job related experience may be substituted for the education requirement. 2.
