Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Communicating issues, justifying conclusions and recommending courses of actions in an audit environment; AND - Preparing audit reports and briefings; AND - Contributing to the development of audit procedures.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

As a/an Auditor (Performance), you will: Lead high-risk, high-visibility audits and reviews supporting Strike Force enforcement efforts involving HUD programs, grants, contractors, lenders, services, and property management entities.

Design and execute forensic, performance, and compliance audits addressing fraud indicators, systemic control weaknesses, and emerging risk trends.

Evaluate the adequacy of and effectiveness of internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes to identify systemic weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
