The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is seeking a dedicated Audit Specialist 2 to join our Office of Financial Management and Administration.
In this important role, you will oversee the financial management of assigned state and federal funding streams and the administration and monitoring of subgrants within those funding sources.

In this position, you will help ensure that all funds are used in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and program guidelines.
You will conduct in-depth audits of PCCD grantees’ financial records to verify that funds were expended in accordance with the approved grant agreements.
Responsibilities include performing both desk and on-site monitoring to evaluate the accuracy of submitted fiscal reports and providing technical assistance related to fiscal reporting and required documentation.
Additional duties include reviewing financial components of grant applications for completeness, identifying errors or deficiencies, and monitoring subgrant administration by examining subgrantee expenditures to confirm that costs are allowable and properly recorded.
You will also evaluate project modification requests to ensure they are well-justified and consistent with program requirements.
Work is performed with minimal supervision and requires sound judgment when making decisions and recommendations based on observations gathered during audits and monitoring activities with grantees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, reporting to the office 1 day per month and as needed.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
