This Audit Intern position involves assisting with financial and accountability audits for local government entities like cities, schools, and hospitals in central Washington counties, under the supervision of experienced auditors.
Interns will help review records, analyze data, and contribute to reports that build public trust in government operations.

About Team Yakima:
Team Yakima is one of 17 local audit teams within the Office of the Washington State Auditor and is responsible for conducting audits in Kittitas, Yakima, Adams, and Grant Counties.
Local audit teams conduct accountability, financial and single audits on a wide array of entity types including cities, counties, school districts, hospitals, public utility districts, risk pools, fire districts, ports, and special facility districts.
Team Yakima's mission is to partner with entities to increase trust in government.
We do that by producing efficient and high-quality audits through collaboration and teamwork, providing meaningful recommendations that entities can understand, and building positive relationships through strong communication, education and mutual respect.
