WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Leading large-scale refugee resettlement or humanitarian assistance programs, including oversight of federal grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
Managing programs and projects with responsibility for performance outcomes, staff direction, and timely decision-making based on analysis of multi-component and time sensitive program information.
Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve program efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery for diverse refugee populations.
Coordinating program activities with federal, state, local, and non-profit partners to achieve established program goals and outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Associate Deputy Director , you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Supports the development and coordinates the implementation and management of major refugee program initiatives, special projects, inter-departmental and workgroup initiatives.
Directs a variety of high-level coordinative, consultative, and advisory services relating to national policy, planning, communication, budget, and research for the ACF.
Initiates special initiatives and outreach to increase refugee self-sufficiency, through grants, demonstration, evaluation, interagency agreements, or pilot programs.
Provides support and oversees the development and implementation of surveys and research studies to include the Annual Survey of Refugees.
Develops refugee program budget estimates based on interagency consultation and coordination.
