Files, dates, and organizes codes and jacket papers. Accepts electronic and paper filings for new and existing cases.
Inputs and prints information from the computer system, issues and distributes to the appropriate staff. Assembles jackets with proper documents and files with court clerks.
Explains office procedures and requirements to the general public and directs them to the appropriate staff. Answers phone inquiries and direct calls to attorneys as appropriate.
Numbers jackets, corrects print-outs, opens and sorts mail. Performs name searches on the computer, retrieves old jackets for the general public and sets up jackets for new lawsuits.
Performs all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma and must have one to three (1-3) full-time years experience.
