GENERAL SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering instruction for the Machining Technologies program, and assisting the Manufacturing Chair in ensuring courses and project developments are aligned with industry needs, developing, growing, and reporting on the Machine Technologies program discipline.
Utilizing the lab coordinator and work studies will address basic maintenance on machine equipment. The workload is 15 credits split between teaching and reassign time for discipline.
This position must exhibit effective leadership in and out of the classroom, collaborate with Chair to develop goals and objectives for the department, and actively participate in providing a positive learning environment for students.
This is a full-time, 9-month faculty position. Opportunities to teach courses or assume additional duties during the summer term may be available for additional compensation; however, such assignments are not guaranteed and are contingent upon departmental needs.

Service includes activities that fulfill the mission and goals of the college outside of the classroom.
These may include but are not limited to departmental service activities like curriculum coordination and development, assessment of student learning, administrative assignments, and committee work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

AAS Degree or higher in Machining, Manufacturing, or Engineering subject areas.

•One (1) year of teaching or training experience.
