This position is located at: Epicenter - Fort Irwin, California.

As part of the DFMWR Epicenter team you will provide dining and hospitality services that enhance community life for Soldier and their families, and promotes welfare that directly support readiness and resiliency.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience directly related to the duties to be performed.

Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within three months of employment.

  • Assist the Business Manager (Food Service) in directing the operations and supervision of multiple food service facilities. Recommends and enforces operating procedures. Represents the activity to the public.
  • Conducts surveys, reviews activity reports, and makes recommendations concerning services, promotion activities, and revenue improvements.
  • Assist Business Manager in the selection of employees and in training new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, and proper use of storage of tools and equipment. Supervises assigned staff.
  • Completes cash reports, and makes daily deposits.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
