This job involves inspecting underground anthracite coal mines in Pennsylvania to ensure safety, conducting rescue operations if needed, and reporting findings to protect the environment and workers.

Full-time employmentWork hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.This position may require you to be on call 24/7.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Ten years of experience in underground anthracite coal mines, with the five years immediately preceding the examination being in the underground anthracite coal mines of Pennsylvania; and graduation from high school or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Candidates must have practical experience with explosive gas or other dangerous gases found in coal mines.
Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement.
