Summary
This job involves daily care for animals in a shelter, such as feeding them, cleaning their living spaces, and handling them safely, along with basic record-keeping tasks.

Full Job Description
Under immediate supervision, maintains animals and animal quarters; and does related work as required.Requirements
Feeds, cares for, and handles animals for the Animal Shelter, cleans cages and other quarters for animals.Cleans rooms, equipment, and utensils.
Marks animals for identification.
Assists personnel in making tests and performs routine clerical record keeping duties in connection with these duties.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Must be a resident of the City of Boston.Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience with the handling of animals.
General knowledge of office procedures, filing, and record keeping.
