THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT WORKER, Position Description Number D0487000 and is part of the CO Army Aviation Support Facility, National Guard.
The purpose of the position is to assist a higher grade mechanic in accomplishing maintenance and repair of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
Military Grades: E-5 1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2.
An applicant's RESUME must provide, in detail, how they meet each specialized experience listed below. 3.
It must be documented with "from (mm/yy)" and "to (mm/yy)" dates and description of the specialized experience.

You will be immediately disqualified if you fail to include specialized experience in your resume. Must have at least 12 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following: 1.
Experience in the use of common hand tools to make mechanical repairs. 2. Experience removing and installing aircraft parts, components, and accessories with detailed guidance. 3.
Experience in following detailed instructions in making routine, reoccurring repairs and modifications to aircraft parts, subassemblies, and components, e.g., such as jacking and leveling aircraft, installing, and adjusting engines, landing gear assemblies, instrument panels, and flight control systems.
Major Duties:
Accomplishes a variety of repairs on military aircraft. Assists a higher grade mechanic in completing more complicated and detailed repair work.
Assists in performing functional checks and preventive maintenance on aircraft to include daily inspections, pre and post flight checks, fuel contamination checks, oil sampling, etc.
May be required to perform such additional duties as fire fighting, aircraft crash/rescue, snow removal, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
