This job involves leading a team of mechanics in maintaining and repairing the weapons and electronic systems on military aircraft, ensuring everything works safely and correctly.
It's based at an Air National Guard unit in Tucson, Arizona, and requires hands-on experience with complex repairs.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT ORDNANCE SYSTEMS MECHANIC LEADER T32, PDD1739P01 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.
Military Grades: TSgt/E-6 to MSgt/E-7 Compatible Military Assignments: 2W171 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In addition to the journeyman level knowledge [experience or training in planning and layout of repair sequence and ability to complete modification, repair, and installation of ordnance systems.
Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions and determining remedies where complex relationships exist. Experience in hand tools and the use of a variety of measuring and test equipment.
Experience in interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's specifications.], must possess at least 12 months experience demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, and lead the work of others in fields directly related to the repair function of this occupational series.
Must have the ability to perform administrative functions; to read and interpret a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment.
