THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2309000 and is part of the TN 164th AW Air National Guard.
This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 115 (Pyramid on the River Chapter).
Military Grades: E-3 through E-9 Compatible Military Assignments: 1A132, 1A152, 1A172 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience in functions such as preparing aircraft loading plans, loading and offloading aircraft, operating loading equipment, and ensuring security of cargo in flight.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 12 months specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Experience, education or training performing weight and balance computations, cargo loading planning and security, directing cargo or personnel loading and off-loading operations.
Knowledge of rules for hazardous cargo transport. Experience performing aircraft inspections to determine aircraft airworthiness. Major Duties:
As an AIRCRAFT LOADMASTER, GS-2185-08, you will accomplish all requirements involved in mission planning and coordination.
Accomplish a wide variety of preflight, in flight, and post flight duties required by the nature of the aircraft assigned and the aircraft's specialized mission.
Develop evacuation procedures for aircrew and passengers. Relay any hazards to pilot/flight engineer. Perform other duties as assigned.
