Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

This job involves inspecting aircraft and their parts to ensure they are safe and ready for use, checking records for accuracy, and providing expert advice on maintenance to military units.
It's a hands-on role in the Missouri Army National Guard, focusing on quality control and repairs for army helicopters or similar aircraft.

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.
This is an Indefinite-Reimbursable WG-8852-12 AIRCRAFT INSPECTOR (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0393000 and is part of the MO TASMG Shop. This is a bargaining position.
SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard.
Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - CW3 (W-3) with date of rank after 20 SEP 2025 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training which has provided you with the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts, accessories, and components; make adjustments and settings according to established specifications; and skilled in the use of hand tools and test equipment.
WG-12 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to conduct inspections and evaluations for the purpose of determining the depth and scope of the necessary repair, overhaul and/or modification required to return such aircraft or components to a serviceable condition; determine parts and labor costs and compare against repairable limits; proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans, blueprints, and schematic diagrams; and the ability to evaluate damage, estimate maintenance, parts, and manpower requirements, diagnose malfunctions, and employ testing and inspection techniques.
