About the Position: This position is located at NAVAL MED CENTER CAMP LEJEUNE.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic ~ without more than normal supervision.
- Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. I have the ability to perform the full range of air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance.
I am skilled in installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting, mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic precision equipment and control devices.
I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
License/Certification required: EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigerant Recovery license/certification required at entry or within six months of employment.
Physical Efforts: Work requires the incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in uncomfortable positions.
The incumbent frequently lifts, carries and sets up tools, equipment, parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally may lift and carry item over 50 pounds Working Conditions: Works inside buildings, shops, and outside, Subject to contact with dirt, dust and grease and to shocks and burns from high voltage, cuts, and bruises.
