As an Aging Care Manager 2, you will serve as one of the main Protective Service Care Managers for our program.
Responsibilities involve receiving reports of need for protective services, investigating reports received, assessing the needs of protective services consumers, and developing and coordinating the implementation of service plans for our consumers.
The protective services you will provide and coordinate through these plans include activities, resources, and support provided to older adults to detect, prevent, reduce, or eliminate abuse, neglect, exploitation, and abandonment.
You will also be expected to become state certified to perform protective service investigations and be responsible for following Pennsylvania Department of Aging state regulations on policy and procedures for protective services.
Additionally, work involves taking protective service referrals after normal working hours, as part of a designated on-call rotation.
