The PA Fish and Boat Commission is looking for a candidate with your skills to join our team!
In this Human Resource (HR) Analyst 1 position, you will serve as our Agency Time Advisor by providing support, guidance, and training to Commission employees for leave and pay related processes.

As our Agency Time Advisor, you will be responsible for agency-wide time and attendance programs and transactions.
This involves providing policy interpretation on time rules, contractual entitlements, and absence management; gathering and analyzing data and information to support conclusions and recommendations; preparing technical reports; and developing project plans in order to resolve payroll errors, solve complex issues, and make necessary corrections.
Your work will also include providing guidance and training to keep our teams up to date with time and attendance policies and laws, and union contracts.
You will be expected to meet all deadlines, maintain strict confidentiality, and ensure that any negative impacts for an employee regarding leave or pay are immediately reported.
Our team will rely on your independent judgment using appropriate resources, analyzing data, and interpreting and applying policies to identify and implement effective solutions regarding employee pay and leave input, systems, and processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
