Base salary range: $123,041 - $159,950

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role at the CDC involves acting as the main decision-maker for resolving employee grievances, claims, and disputes within the agency, including overseeing settlements and guiding mediations.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, which must include the following experience: advising leadership and implementing resolution policies; reviewing cases to recommend settlements and participating in mediations; and evaluating legislation and policies to assess impacts and ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic decisions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
