You will serve as a Advanced Practice Nurse in the Department of Family Medicine (FAM) of Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, MD Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Individual Occupational Requirements Nursing Series, 610 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specilized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: rapid clinical triage and risk assessment for diverse patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics, while leveraging immediate EHR proficiency for efficient charting and "In-Basket" management.
My expertise extends to preventative care, including immunizations, screenings, and chronic disease management.
As an experienced Nurse, I excel at delegating to LPNs and MAs to optimize clinic workflow and maintain high standards of patient care.
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates.
The selective placement factors are: Active Registered Nursing License: Unencumbered licensure in the state of practice. BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support.
Ambulatory Care Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an outpatient or primary care setting.
