Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This role involves planning and managing complex technical projects in naval warfare systems, focusing on resource allocation, budgeting, and ensuring projects stay on track for the military's communication and cyber needs.
It requires handling everything from creating plans and presentations to dealing with contracts and risks in a high-stakes environment.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government or defense project management who is detail-oriented and good at solving tough administrative challenges.
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Rapid Mission Integration & Interoperability Department (MX), Expeditionary C3 & Cyber Division (MXL), Tactical Communications Branch (MXLN) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.
This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and interpreting policies and procedures to identify cost-effective strategies for improved planning and execution of property or financial management for programs, projects, or initiatives.
