Base salary range: $30,286 - $39,372

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing everyday administrative help in a Navy recruiting office in Portland, Oregon, such as handling paperwork, using computers to create documents, managing files, and assisting with inquiries and travel arrangements.
It's a good fit for someone with basic office experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with routine tasks in a government setting.
Entry-level candidates with at least a year of similar work, including volunteer roles, would be ideal.
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT PORTLAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing administrative work in an office environment; 2) Utilizing office automation software to format documents and data; and 3) Maintaining and updating files based on policies and directives.
