This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Greater Greenville Mental Health Center, 124 Mallard St, Greenville, SC 29601.Under limited supervision, performs a variety of secretarial or administrative duties involved in the operation of the Community Rehabilitative Services (CRS) program. Requires the ability to plan, organize, develop and implement procedures necessary to maintain the work schedule.
Responsibilities for the Administrative Specialist II:
Responsible for all duties related to the CRS front office area to include scheduling/rescheduling patient appointments, signing patients in and out, front desk coverage, directing patients and visitors to the appropriate area, calling codes as needed.
Promptly responds to patient and staff correspondence.
Supervise the vehicle operator that is responsible for client transportation to include coverage, coordination and maintenance of daily patient transport schedule, completion of annual EPMS, and approving time in SCEIS.
Responsible for scheduling all clinic common areas to include group rooms, break areas, and auditorium. Post and update monthly schedule with changes on a regular basis. Send out monthly calendar to CRS staff for the CRS area.
Responsible for maintaining and updating schedule for patient laundry use to include maintaining stock of required supplies.
Provide coverage of administrative areas to include all front office areas, switchboard, and admissions as needed. Perform cashier duties and collection of fees paid.
A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
Additional Requirements:
A high school diploma and two years of clerical experience, or an associate degree in secretarial science or a related field; or 3 years of clerical experience.
