About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, & Coast Guard, meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD & the military services.
Every MEPS represents state of the art in testing, examining & processing applicants for enlistment into the Armed Forces. Position will be filled permanently.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of experience which includes: Maintaining an automated inventory system to account for company's supply inventory; Resolving issues with supply requests to ensure required supplies can be obtained; Making approved purchases with a company credit card within established limits; Assisting in the management and/or maintenance of an organization's motor vehicle fleet.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-06).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience above in order to qualify.
For this job, you must meet the qualifications requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
