There are two part-time positions available to SPSCC student interns only. These positions are based in Olympia, WA, are currently funded through June, and are eligible for a telework schedule. The telework arrangement includes a combination of on-site and remote workdays.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will provide administrative support for PESB’s Educator preparation team. This team oversees the preparation program approval, review, data, and support policies and processes for all educator preparation programs in Washington State.

This position reports to the Directors of the PESB’s Educator preparation team and will work closely

with the members of this team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the team to revise the educator preparation program approval forms and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to compile and organize previously collected feedback on policies, standards, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to review reports to ensure alignment with FERPA regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare Board meeting materials.
  • Schedule Meetings, take notes, synthesize and summarize meeting notices
  • Update PESB website as needed


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience using Google Suite
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite

COMPENSATION

Compensation for the position is $20.09 per hour. Work is part-time, 18 hours per week. The position is not represented by a bargaining unit.
