To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position.
OR Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience reviewing administrative processes and systems to make proposed changes to improve effectiveness.
Experience in receiving, screening and routing incoming mail and telephone calls, ascertaining the nature of the request and directing inquiries to appropriate staff.
Experience preparing travel authorizations and settlements using automated systems. Experience maintaining daily workflow and responding to special requests by staff and supervisor.
Experience in maintaining supervisor's daily calendar, establishing priorities, scheduling appointments and making commitments for the supervisor to attend meetings without prior approval.
If applicable, credit will be paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as number of hours worked per week) spent in the activities.
**Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.** Major Duties:
Performs a variety of administrative and technical duties which are auxiliary to the work of the section, and provides support to the Chief, Building Management Section.
Serves as the principle administrative assistant of the section, operating independently of any other such position.
Prepares/tracks and updates various status reports for the preventative/corrective maintenance and the internet Total Maintenance Systems (iTMS) program, reporting any findings to their supervisor.
Responsible for the BOP entries into General Services Administration (GSA), external, Reimbursable Work Authorization (RWA), and the Entry Tracking Application Systems, which provides users real-time access to RWA projects/work request information.
