In this Administrative Assistant 1 position, you will join the Pennsylvania Game Commission in our Harrisburg headquarters to proactively manage administrative tasks that support the efficient operation of our office.
Your responsibilities will involve developing and maintaining administrative processes including databases, filing systems, and workflow protocols.
This includes handling correspondence, reports, and data entry as well as analyzing data collected and developing reports to ensure accurate tracking of program metrics and compliance.
You may also assist with research for special projects, participate in budgeting responsibilities, and attend field visits as necessary.
Our team will rely on you to answer phone calls, emails, mail, and other inquiries for the office.
This includes supporting hunter engagement communication and processing certified hunter applications, coordinating meetings with landowners by preparing materials and assisting with program enrollments, and engaging with legislators, federal, and state agencies to provide information regarding our programs.
You will also collaborate with office staff to organize workshops, trainings, and outreach events.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
