This job is for a part-time music professor who will teach an introductory music appreciation course to college students in person at various campuses and off-site locations like high schools.

This position is located on various Midlands Technical College campuses and off-campus instructional sites.
Master of Arts in Music; or Master of Arts plus 18 hours in Music.
Past experience in teaching introductory college Music courses, especially in the community college setting, is preferred.
Compensation
Adjunct faculty are compensated in accordance with Midlands Technical College’s established pay schedule. The standard adjunct pay rate is $2,802 per three-credit-hour course.
Final compensation may vary depending on academic credentials and total course credit hours. Any variation is determined upon hire and outlined in the faculty employment agreement.
