About the Position: This position falls under the Defense Health Agency-Atlantic Network, 633RD Medical Group.

assisting in the management of all activity administrative support program functions, including Government Travel Card, Defense Travel System, Drug Demand Reduction Program, Health Care Program, Fitness Program, Government Purchase Card, Safety Program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, Security Program, Civilian Timecard Program, and Activity Recognition Program.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes, 1) Organizing administrative and/or financial management programs such as, Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC), Safety Program, In-and-Out Processing, Time and Attendance, and Unit Recognition or Awards Programs; 2) Preparing computer generated reports using automated systems and databases such as, Defense Travel System (DTS), CitiBank (Agency Program Coordinator), Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), LeaveWeb), and/or My Force Support Squadron (MyFSS) applications such as, My Evaluations (My Evals) and My Decorations (My Decs); and 3) Maintaining office records/files of various types.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for programs including Government Travel Card program, Defense Travel System, safety, drug demand reduction, disinterested drug inventory, in-out processing, time attendance, or unit recognition.
  • Develop and implements procedures to track program status and maintain program health.
  • Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
  • Instruct others on changes in administrative policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.
