About the Position: This position located at Redstone Arsenal, AL serves as the Acquisition Analyst.

This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 14 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 15 grade step 10 in the broadband.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03). Major Duties:

  • Develops strategic acquisition objectives for highly specialized programs.
  • Serves as the primary interface with the contracting office during all acquisition phases.
  • Conducts complex independent reviews of acquisition requirement packages.
  • Manages program areas to ensure operations meet mission requirements.
  • Formulates contracting strategies that incorporate socioeconomic program goals.
  • Develops clear performance criteria for inclusion in performance work statements.
