About the Position: Serves as the Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance Manager and supervisory lead within a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Basic Requirement for Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance Manager: Degree: Bachelor's or graduate (or higher level) degree with major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
This degree must be from an educational program accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
(MUST submit a copy of your transcript with your application package or you will be rated ineligible.)In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes apossesses experience leading and supervising a team to achieve organizational and mission objectives.
Demonstrates experience in planning, evaluating, and supporting an accreditation and compliance program, including assessing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Possesses experience working within a medical treatment facility, applying knowledge of healthcare operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance activities to support organizational readiness.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D.
or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Infection Prevention and Control, Patient Safety or similar type degree.
(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
