Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

In addition to the specialized experience you must meet the basic education requirements listed in the Education section of this announcement.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing expert accounting advice, technical assistance and training in specialized areas of accounting for an agency; (2) Reviewing and commenting on legislation, regulations, and policies while developing instructions and guidelines for program users; (3) Coordinating and conducting onsite reviews for various activities involving financial management, cash management, procurement, financial reporting, record keeping, property management, audits and internal controls; (4) Recommending corrective actions and methods for improvement for fiscal controls to enhance the effectiveness of the financial management system; and (5) Providing guidance and assistance in the development and implementation of various accounting procedures to ensure funds are safeguarded to the maximum extent.
