As an Accountant 1, you will assist the County Fiscal Officer and Administrative Staff in completing the posting of revenue and expenditure data to the County financial system and the State financial system.
Incumbents maintain records for revenue and expenditures, creating accounting reports for both the county and the state.
This role reviews and maintains unit coordinated files and charts of accounts for Office of Children and Youth Act 148 funds budgeted, received, and expended.
You will also process vendor invoices to confirm they are complete and accurate, update expenses, verify contracts for service performed, correct funding for all individuals and assign it to the proper County and State account codes for the type of expenditure.
