This position oversees the configuration, maintenance, security, and optimization of academic operations and retention systems. Serving as a key liaison between Academic Affairs and Information Resource Management partners, ensures academic technology platforms operate efficiently, accurately, and securely. Responsibilities include system administration, process improvement, user support and training, reporting, and supervision of assigned staff. The position collaborates closely with academic leadership to align system functionality with institutional needs while supporting continuous improvement and effective use of academic technologies.
This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus.

Requirements

A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related field may be substituted for the required work experience.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in system administration, particularly with academic operations technology systems and platforms in a higher education setting. They should possess strong technical skills and familiarity with academic processes.
